Autumn Events in the Canadian Rockies.
Great Fall events are taking place in Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper: The Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival is taking place from October 26- November 3. Great events are offered during this festival. The newest movies and books about mountaineering will be introduced as well as meeting authors and movie directors. Check out some of the latest and greatest mountaineering gears and enjoy a beautiful walk in Banff's downtown, surrounded by the dramatic views of the Canadian Rockies and the majestic Bow River.
Jasper's Dark Sky Festival is taking place from Oct.25-27. This event is featured near Jasper in the Jasper National Park. The Dark Sky Festival offers visitors to explore the Jasper National Park - Dark Sky Preserve and to see its magic and natural skylights. A beautiful event in the Canadian Rockies around Jasper.

Great Fall events are taking place in the Canadian Kootenays this weekend. On Sunday, October 6th, Fernie is hosting the half marathon event with a solo event, a 3 Person Relay event and a 10km sprint solo event.
Invermere in the beautiful Columbia Valley is hosting a fun Octoberfest on Saturday, October 5th, in the downtown area , from 11am-3pm; Live Music, German Food Specialities and Local Vendors are offered.
Creston is hosting a fall farmers market on Saturday, October 5th.
